I can not stay signed onto the forum. I have to log on every visit, and sometimes it logs me off when I try to change threads. It gives me the message- all members must log on. No option to even view the forum as a guest????

Am I doing something wrong, am I the only one having a problem?

This is crazy, I was signed in, tried to change threads and was logged of and had to log back in. Then I tried to post a reply and was logged off again. I have used many other forums, and never had a mess like this.

I seem to be the only one with this problem. I was on the forum earlier today, posted a comment, and got an email that someone had replied. All of the other forums I have been on, when I get such a reply, it logs me in to see the reply. Not this one. I had to log back in again. My computer crashed, am getting a new one. At the moment I am using an old Windows 95 computer that has not been on the internet for a few years before this forum was started, so I expected to sign in the first time. I tried another forum that I was on several years ago, and I got on with the old computer without a new log on. What is it with this forum, is it my sign in name, password, Email or what? How do non members ever get on the forum to join? I agree that we should be logged on to post, but see no reason why I have to log in on almost every visit.

Hi Whip, sorry no one replied yet. Unfortunately there were to many spam bots hitting the site and the site had to be on a register to view basis, now with the new modifications the spam has really calmed down and is easier to handle. I will get a hold Tony tomorrow, explain the problems and if I get the go ahead to allow view of the site, I will set it up. Can't promise though. Daniel

I am glad I am moving out of state and will not have to contend with this forum, as it really sucks. I just made a post on the CBA section, and tried to read some other threads, and the thing signed me off again. No wonder we do not get a lot of activity on here.

Whip we are listening to the problems you have encountered. We all like your great posts and don't want to see you go. I did some coding to keep the username/password saved when you sign in. Can you please give it a try and send me a PM with the results. Thank you, Daniel

EDIT: I tried it myself on the 3 different computers, in 4 different browsers, and have no problem with the forum saving my login. What browser are you currently using?

Sorry, that you feel that way whip. Where are you moving to?

Sorry, that you feel that way whip. Where are you moving to?

I am tired of Chicago, I have been here for 40 years, and had enough. I can no longer put up with the high prices and fees for everything, the city has a tax on a bottle of water, and the parking fees went out sight since our Mayor sold them to a private company, they are everywhere and cost an arm and a leg.
I am moving to the Tulsa Ok. area. Lots of lakes to fish, and they give residents over 65 a free fishing license. I will be checking in from time to time to see what is going on, and maybe a report on a great lake in Ok if I find some.

Same problem with the forum again today. I was on this one early today, and later 6 other sites for fishing and cars. The rest are fine I never have to relog on to them. I had the same problem with my old computer, I got a new Windows 7, and same thing, I had to relog on on my 2nd visit.
