BankfishingUSA is a dedicated group of anglers who consider all fish to be "gamefish", and conduct all–species bankfishing & matchfishing tournaments. We promote conservation of all fish species, through the practice of catch and release angling. We also utilize the art and science of float (bobber) fishing with natural baits, and pioneer advancements and techniques for shore (bank) angling. Our group conducts an exciting tournament series called the (American Bankfishing Series), for anglers to test and enhance their skills against other bank anglers. This unique competitive format (American Bankfishing)is spreading quickly throughout the nation, take a look at our schedule to see if a BankfishingUSA event is going to be held near you.
We are also proud members of the United States Freshwater Fishing Federation (USF3). This Federation links American Anglers to Olympic style International Freshwater fishing events. The worldwide organizer of these events is the Confederation Internationale De Peche Sportive (CIPS). BankfishingUSA conducts Matchfishing events according to CIPS rules, and determines who fishes in the Coarse Divisions (Men, Women, Juniors, Seniors, and Physically Challenged).
